Out by the Breakers
As the frantic swimmers started splashing around and tumbling back toward shore, Dive began to think that he could probably have done that a bit more subtly. Of course, there’s not much one can do to make “there’s a shark in the water” sound pleasant. “Ah, no, no! Please, be calm! Splashing make it angry…!”
That radar image was starting to look rather suspicious. Even with the lack of sonar, he could see some very odd shapes on this particular shark. He moved out into the shallow water, trying to get a better look. He could have sworn that he’d seen what looked like arms…
Oh how Shark wanted to get closer. But this was close enough. Any closer someone would see what he actually looked like. Instead he backed off a bit, but his fin always stayed above the water, just so they knew that he wasn’t leaving. He turned again so he was facing the beach.
Well, this wasn’t good. It seemed like someone was trying to get a better look at him from the way their feet were facing. Time to back off a little more.
Normally, it wouldn’t have been such a brilliant idea to wade out into waist-deep water with a shark around, even if Dive knew that he’d probably be safe if he didn’t startle it. Something seemed very odd about this.
He leaned forward and dipped his arm into the water, hoping to get a semblance of a sonar image. He had a fix on the shark on radar, so it was easy to make out even in the murky shallows. The image that he received surprised him a bit; it wasn’t quite a shark, but it almost looked… humanoid? He couldn’t tell. Whatever it was, its legs were bent at a very odd angle.
… Dive looked back toward the small, frantic group on the shore. What a mess. And after all that, it was starting to look like some half-assed teenage prank. He grunted. “You cannot fool me… Is this joke of some kind?!”

At first, Dive didn’t even notice that dark shape out in the water. The moment he did, though.. he sort of flipped out. A shark?! At the beach?!
He looked about frantically. Not too many people out here, but there were some people still in the water. “L-look out! There is shark out there!” With that, began waving down the swimmers, trying to get their attention. He tried to keep a watch on the shark with his radar, making sure it didn’t get too close to anyone.
Odd. That silouette wasn’t like any sort of shark he’d ever seen…
Ahhh, there was the screaming. It took them long enough to notice.
Even though it was probably a very bad idea, Shark swam even closer to where the people were. He had already readjusted his legs into a tail for a speedy getaway. (mershark!) He wanted to poke his head out to see what was going on out of the water, but couldn’t risk anyone seeing him, so he just swam back and forth.

(( OOC: Because I should really be more active here, and Dive is begging for my attention right now. Open to anyone, especially water-bots! ))
There was a strange calm by the beach today. The waves were less volatile than usual, even if their norm wasn’t really fitting of that description anyway.
Dive Man didn’t mind. He enjoyed a day at the beach in most any weather… well, so long as it wasn’t too warm out. It was a tad nippy out, so obviously, not many people here today.
So here he is, walking along the shore and watching the waves roll up the sand. It was rather peaceful, here…
Shark was out in the water, close enough so that he would scare off anyone who might get too close to the water, but not enough that one could tell he had a humanoid body. It was a harmless enough way to keep himself entertained, and he could swim fast enough to get away easily in case a boat showed up. Unfortunately there weren’t enough people for this to be truely entertaining. He swam a bit closer to the shore, hoping anyone around would notice him.

Anonymous asked: Are you one with Mother Russia?
Of course. I always carry Her with me. I have said before; we Russians are very… “patriotic”, as you would say.
snakey-in-a-box asked: I see you have Dr. Wily's chin. Do you mind that?
… Wh-what? I do not think…
It is… obviously strange coincidence. Russian chin is better, anyway.
Ew, my early designs were really bad! I’m glad Dad chose this one.
All the Woodmans look silly. c:
(( OOC: The first thing I saw was the elephant. I almost thought it was Flame Mammoth. XDD
And what the heeeeell is that thing next to it.))
… I wonder if Father ever saw these. One looks much like brother Drill.
sexyplantlife-deactivated201301 asked: Is it cold where you live?
I assume you refer to Russia? Yes, is colder than others. Though, is not the frozen wasteland she is so often shown as.
dln070 asked: I-I don't think I've ever met a robot from Russia before. What's it like there? Are there a lot of other robots?
Russia is grand, mighty nation. Full of history and beauty. The landscapes are true wonder to behold. The people there… very “patriotic”, as you would say.
Though, not as many robots there as here. Doktor Cossack is working to change that.
If you get chance, I think you should visit.
Anonymous asked: Do you know any yellow submarines?
Erm. I do not. Should I? I was not aware that submarines would be manufactured yellow. Seems like would be ineffective in stealth.
… Is this reference to something?
